Authorities in northern Arizona say a 4-year-old boy has accidentally shot and killed his father at a Prescott Valley home.
Prescott Valley police say the shooting occurred just after noon Friday.
The 35-year-old man and his young son were visiting from Phoenix and were at a friend’s house.
Police say the boy somehow found a gun in the home’s living room and accidentally fired it and a bullet hit his father, who was rushed to a hospital where he died. Police identified the man as Justin Stanfield Thomas.
Police say the boy is with his mother. No other details have been released.

A 19-year-old survived a dangerous sodium overdose after drinking more than a quart of soy sauce on a dare, according to a case study in the Journal of Emergency Medicine.
After drinking a quart of the sodium-heavy condiment, the teenager slipped into coma with seizure-like activity. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors determined he was suffering from hypernatremia, a metabolic condition in which there is a salt imbalance in the bodily fluids.
Eventually doctors determined that he had ingested 160 to 170 grams of sodium from the soy sauce, a potentially lethal dose for his weight and build. He had effectively overdosed on sodium.
“He didn’t respond to any of the stimuli that we gave him,” Dr. David J. Carlberg, who treated the patient as an emergency room physician at University of Virginia Medical Center, told LiveScience. “He had some clonus, which is just elevated reflexes. It’s a sign that basically the nervous system wasn’t working very well.”
According to the NIH, severe hypernatremia can result in excessive sodium in bodily fluid, which causes excess water to flow into cells to balance sodium levels. While some cells can handle the swelling, in brain cells the excess swelling can lead to neurological damage or death. Other symptoms include mental confusion, convulsions, fatigue, and nausea.
While in the past, doctors slowly lowered sodium levels in patients suffering from hypernatremia in order to protect the body from further shock, in this case doctors worked quickly to lower the patient’s sodium level as soon as possible to protect his brain. They quickly tried to flush the salt from his system with a water-and-sugar-based solution in an effort to protect his brain from lasting damage.
Eventually the doctors were able to stabilize the patient, even though he remained in a coma. After three days he woke up from the coma without suffering any lasting neurological damage.
While death from sodium is incredibly rare, it is not unheard of. According to the case study’s authors, in ancient China, salt overdoses were one traditional way to commit suicide.

OMG this is a true story of be careful what you wish for..\
THE DIRTY ARMY: Nik, I truly have f*cked my life. My wife and I had 3 children and she went from being 5’3 and 120 pounds to weighing 190 after the kids. Sex sucked because she was so fat, so I started sleeping around and 3 years after she caught on. Instead of breaking up, she chose to forgive me and we went to couples therapy and I laid it out how her being fat made me not be attracted to her. So, that very night she dedicated herself to getting fit. Long story short, 16 months later and my wife has dropped 60 pounds and has muscles and a 6 pack. She looks very similar to these girls in the picture. Now here is the issue, Im less attracted to her than when she was fat. Now she eats crazy healthy food that taste like sh*t and she eats so much fish, in the mornings she tells me how she only poops fish oil. Then I have to deal with all the HGH she is on, which causes her to talk like a man and break out everywhere. I swear I thought I was having sex with a man last time we did, her junk is at least 1 inch long. I’m literally lost about what to do. Do I start cheating again or just end this, because her temper is insane and I’m scared she will stab me in my sleep.

Ladies we get so caught up on all these ladies chasing our men in the industry and making sure they know there name (Groupie, slut, hoe, lot lizard, boppa, etc,) but what about the fellows that have been gracefully touting it up in the industry. I mean if Married Radio DJ Mister Cee isn't cautionary tale I don't know what is. This dude done ran through all his groupies got caught once and aint learned his lesson it wasn't but 2-3 weeks ago he was arrested for soliciting sex again from a man. SMDH now he saying somebody out to set him up.. Really so they set you up to be there at that point in time asking people for favors. No see officer its the other way around "Your under citizens arrest for prostitution". lol...

Then you got ol boy Kerry Rhodes who ex is trying to pull him out the closet his. So his ex assistant/boo told how him and Kerry kept the relationship under wraps all those years. To think he's dated the likes of Jennifer Hudson, Chrissette Michelle and Vivica Fox. \
That's why its best we start keeping our precious pocketbooks to ourselves honey. Make these men prove themselves to us and stop accepting them as is and let them know its going to be requisite you must meet before you can come to my front door. I have no problem with someones sexual preference or fetishes but be upfront with that from jump. There's some couples out there that make scenarios like these work, like most relationships some are healthy and some not. So why you sitting there worrying about all these Females eyeing your dude need to be checking out his entourage, who he keeps around him . I'm just saying lets not be Naïve. I've learned 3 things about myself that would help deflect the pain in the long run if it ever happened to me. Im not going to be with another man who makes less then 40Million a year after taxes. In the pre-nuptial (Yes, Pre-nup I plan on being paid to) it'll state if you cheat on me with a woman I get half of what you made every year since we've been married and I keep the kids. If you cheat on me with a man I get everything you've made since we've been married and you keep the kids. I got to go find me a real man while you raise them, cause apparently that's what you wanted. To play mama.. Im just saying.
