Ok I was to through reading this story.. First off who is Danny Brown?  Is this the editor who wrote this 2nd cousin?  Who actually sat down and talked to this man and got this story?  Why didn't they do a video interview?  Why couldn't I get a before the after and after the after pic?  How can I be sure his teeth hadn't always been chipped?  How I know he aint rip off KFC? Was this incident on camera?  So if I get hit in a Mcdonalds parking lot and break my ankle they'll pay for my hospital bill?  Im just saying so many questions.. No answers.. Read the rest below..

Danny Brown gets his teeth fixed thanks to KFC
Following the success of his gritty hip-hop opus Old, Danny Brown turned back the clock yesterday with reconstructive dental surgery, funded entirely by Kentucky Fried Chicken.
Why? The 32-year-old Detroit rapper chipped his front teeth several years ago when he was struck by an oncoming car in a KFC parking lot. KFC offered Brown an apology last Monday and agreed to cover the $2,200 price tag for Brown’s two new porcelain veneers.
"I’m back, cuz!" Brown said yesterday in a phone interview with Pitchfork.
Brown said he planned the surgery after Old debuted at No. 17 on the US Billboard 200, selling 15,000 copies in its first week
"I wanted to fuckin’ celebrate," Brown said, adding, "At first I was gonna get my teeth plated. Then I’d call my next album Gold.”
KFC was unavailable for comment.

Another day, another ain’t isht teenager robbing life from the person that gave it to them without any remorse.
Via Clarion-Ledger reports:

Affidavits filed in Pike County Justice Court reveal more details about the day 53-year-old McComb resident Kenneth Thompson allegedly was killed by his teenage son and others and how a police officer allegedly helped hide the evidence.
Thompson’s 14-year-old son, Blake Thompson, reportedly plotted to kill him with the help of Greg Fortenberry, 26, and LeJerrious Perkins, 17, according to criminal reports written by Troy Travis of the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation.
Thompson, Fortenberry and Perkins have each been charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, arson and conspiracy to commit arson.
The three suspects allegedly stabbed Kenneth Thompson in the neck sometime Sunday and took his Chevrolet Silverado extended-cab pickup. They were spotted driving the truck later that day near Walmart in McComb, said the victim’s sister-in-law, Lillian Mallard.
The elder Thompson may have been lured by a phone call he received earlier that morning instructing him to get his son, Mallard said. Blake Thompson had run away days ago, she said, and his father was looking for him.
After the slaying, the suspects allegedly enlisted the help of Brookhaven police officer Jasper Pittman to help burn the truck and bury the body, the affidavits claim.
Kenneth Thompson’s corpse was found early Monday in a shallow grave behind Pittman’s house. His truck was discovered in a wooded area on the property of a Pittman family member.
Pittman was charged with arson, conspiracy to commit arson and accessory after the fact (murder). He also was charged with sexual battery,” one of the affidavits states.
Pittman is 25. He is being held at the Amite County Jail on $400,000 cash bond. He was fired from the Brookhaven Police Department on Tuesday, said Chief Bobby Bell.

The cop is the one in the middle in the above photo. Fortenberry, aka “Red,” on the left — just got out of jail June 22nd after serving six years on a ten year bid for assaulting a police officer. He and Perkins “aka Moo” (on the right) are being held on $500K bond.

The biggest tragedy is that the deceased was by all accounts a good man:

Mallard said she didn’t know the suspects and wasn’t sure why the younger Thompson associated with them, except that he was a troubled teen.
“He was stealing; they’d send him back home. He was getting in trouble in school; they’d send him home,” she said. “His daddy was trying to keep him out of trouble.”
Kenneth Thompson worked full time at a Wal-Mart distribution center and left behind three other children, including a 7-year-old daughter. The children’s mother died five years ago, Mallard said.

Allen Iverson and his wife Tawanna.  If you gone be together, be together. Damn! This is getting quite ridiculous! I mean, this is the umpteenth time in 5 years they been heading for divorce.  Im not even one of A.I.'s groupies and the suspense of it actually going through or not bothers me.  The fact that anyone took the time to report about it initially for me to know, has been wasted.  I dont even see why people call its "News" theres nothing new about them always about to or getting a divorce.  I can see them keeping this up for another 30 years. Groupies, Hoes and boppas BEWARE!! Dont let this man sell you no damn dream.. He aint bout to divorce this woman! You wanna know why Im not even certain but Im fasho that they aint got no prenupt..

If he had one this would of been nipped in the bud.. Believe me and out of all the reports I've read in the past 5 years, there was no mention of one so I only assume by a process of elimation and the end result each time, its "Cheaper too keep her". Im just saying .. I dont even know how many kids they have now they were up 3-4 5 years ago and seems like the only time they are happy together is when she got another one on the way, so I wonder how many of em he gone put up in her before the next divorce debacle.... Whats your guess?

Kim Coles, one of the stars of our favorite late 90s comedy, Living Single, is gearing up to return to TV. The Brooklyn-born actress was tapped to host the new game show, Are You Normal America? on Oprah’s OWN network.
According to OWN, Are You Normal America? will “help viewers figure out how normal (or not) they are” by “using a highly scientific and deeply revealing poll, in addition to a ‘jury’ of real Americans, man-on-the-street polling, real life situations shot in the field and in-studio demonstrations.”
Cole is excited about the show and recently blogged about her experience, writing, “Oprah is my new Boss and I am giddy, grateful and GOOD!”
At the moment, there is no air date for the show, but we’ll keep you posted.
