Another day, another ain’t isht teenager robbing life from the person that gave it to them without any remorse.

Affidavits filed in Pike County Justice Court reveal more details about the day 53-year-old McComb resident Kenneth Thompson allegedly was killed by his teenage son and others and how a police officer allegedly helped hide the evidence.
Thompson’s 14-year-old son, Blake Thompson, reportedly plotted to kill him with the help of Greg Fortenberry, 26, and LeJerrious Perkins, 17, according to criminal reports written by Troy Travis of the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation.
Thompson, Fortenberry and Perkins have each been charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, arson and conspiracy to commit arson.
The three suspects allegedly stabbed Kenneth Thompson in the neck sometime Sunday and took his Chevrolet Silverado extended-cab pickup. They were spotted driving the truck later that day near Walmart in McComb, said the victim’s sister-in-law, Lillian Mallard.
The elder Thompson may have been lured by a phone call he received earlier that morning instructing him to get his son, Mallard said. Blake Thompson had run away days ago, she said, and his father was looking for him.
After the slaying, the suspects allegedly enlisted the help of Brookhaven police officer Jasper Pittman to help burn the truck and bury the body, the affidavits claim.
Kenneth Thompson’s corpse was found early Monday in a shallow grave behind Pittman’s house. His truck was discovered in a wooded area on the property of a Pittman family member.
Pittman was charged with arson, conspiracy to commit arson and accessory after the fact (murder). He also was charged with sexual battery,” one of the affidavits states.
Pittman is 25. He is being held at the Amite County Jail on $400,000 cash bond. He was fired from the Brookhaven Police Department on Tuesday, said Chief Bobby Bell.
The cop is the one in the middle in the above photo. Fortenberry, aka “Red,” on the left — just got out of jail June 22nd after serving six years on a ten year bid for assaulting a police officer. He and Perkins “aka Moo” (on the right) are being held on $500K bond.
The biggest tragedy is that the deceased was by all accounts a good man:
Mallard said she didn’t know the suspects and wasn’t sure why the younger Thompson associated with them, except that he was a troubled teen.
“He was stealing; they’d send him back home. He was getting in trouble in school; they’d send him home,” she said. “His daddy was trying to keep him out of trouble.”
Kenneth Thompson worked full time at a Wal-Mart distribution center and left behind three other children, including a 7-year-old daughter. The children’s mother died five years ago, Mallard said.
