The time has come to make a decision about whether or not George Zimmerman murdered Trayvon Martin Jury May Have A Verdict In The George Zimmerman-Trayvon Martin Trial Today Via OrlandoSentinel Will there be a verdict today in the George Zimmerman second-degree murder trial? No one knows how long the jury will deliberate. The panel resumed deliberaions at 9 a.m. today to decide whether Zimmerman is guilty or not not guilty of committing a crime when he shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. A verdict is possible as soon as today in the closely watched, ultra-high-profile trial. The jurors began the process on Friday at 2:30 and deliberated until 6 p.m. when they asked to break for the day. Once the jury has reached a verdict, it could be about one hour before that verdict is announced. The jury can find Zimmerman guilty of second-degree murder, guilty of manslaughter, or not guilty in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin. If the jury finds Zimmerman guilty of second-degree murder, he faces a maximum of life in prison. If they find him guilty of manslaughter, he faces a maximum 30-year prison sentence.

The verdict will be read in Circuit Court Judge Debra Nelson’s courtroom at the Seminole County courthouse about an hour after the jury decides. There is a lot of speculation about exactly how long the jury will deliberate, but one thing is for sure, we will be watching every minute until we get word that a verdict has been reached. Kanye West the man who doesn't care for much attention on the street as he does off in the studio or on stage (see Kanye West Slice of Humble Pie .) Has landed himself in some hot water with Houston Officials, not allowing the 3 attempted premiers of the video to air in different parts of the city. One showing citing technical difficulties and the other two venues of show the cops just showed up in from what I hear were peaceful crowds and asked everyone to disperse prior to the showing of the controversial clip.  For somebody who doesn't care for much attention he sure has a way of garnering it.  The moral of this story for Moral Mondays is "Sit yo ass down somewhere Kanye". My Honest Opinion: Is the song is dope in the sense that its speaks volumes on not just the racial aspect of America right now but exposes the different attitudes we hold amongst classes; That scares people of the upper crest to know that minorities could educate themselves in anyway especially through someone who's so influential in the world.  Not to say Kanye West wont be here much longer but this song sounds like his stab at Corporate America.  He didn't sound as though he was very happy at all with his current situation.  Besides having to Put up with the Kardashian Klan he has to prepare to being a new father and keeping his sexual exploits under wraps..But as my mama says all the things done in the dark shall come to light.  I really have nothing else to say about Kanye West other then get it together..Its one thing to promote a message but its another one to stand by it.  So stop with all the randomness pick a side and stick with it..

Update** 5/29/13 Im hearing on the low that the reason his video didn't get played in Houston was the cops thought it was offensive to White people..wow!

Man Arrested In Virginia For Carrying A Board Labeled “Rifle” Into Sandy Hook Elementary

A man walked into northern Virginia’s Sandy Hook Elementary School on Wednesday with a 2-by-4 printed with the words “High Powered Rifle” and was quickly subdued by a school resource officer, the sheriff’s office said.
Christopher G. Johnson, 33, did not resist arrest and was attempting to deliver a message “related to school safety,” said Maj. Scott Proctor of the Shenandoah Sheriff’s Department.
The school located about 50 miles west of Washington shares the same name as the Connecticut elementary school where 20 schoolchildren and six adults were shot to death by a lone gunman on Friday.
Johnson, who lives in Strasburg, was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor, disorderly conduct, Proctor said. He was being held without bond at the county jail. A Dec. 28 court date was scheduled.
Proctor did not know if Johnson had retained an attorney. A woman who identified herself as Johnson’s roommate said she had just learned of his arrest and did not want to immediately comment.
Proctor said Johnson walked into the school building shortly before noon and administrators immediately notified the resource officer. No weapons were found in the car he drove to the school.

DJ Khaled can spin it anyway he wants … but his landlord has sued to have him evicted, claiming the famous deejay failed to pay $55,000 in back rent.
According to court docs filed in Miami, Khaled rented an apartment last September from Misci LLC and agreed to make two bulk payments of $66,000 for rent. Khaled made the first payment, but according to the landlord’s lawsuit … he failed to make the second one after re-working the deal to pay $11,000 upfront and the remaining $55,000 a month later.
Two weeks later, Misci says they gave Khaled three days notice to vacate the property, but he refused. Misci then filed a lawsuit to get their money back (plus attorneys’ fees) and have Khaled removed from the apartment.
The case is still ongoing.

Na Cola Darcel Franklin and Billy Rafeal Brewster were set to be married Saturday morning. But police say Franklin stabbed her fiancé twice, puncturing his heart, just hours before the wedding, The Morning Call reported.
“I did not mean to kill him on purpose,” Franklin told the judge at her arraignment hearing.
Brewster, 36, was pronounced dead at 3:24 a.m. Saturday. About an hour earlier, police found him bleeding outside the Whitehall Township, Pa., apartment he shared with Franklin, 31.
His cousin’s wife, Monique Kali, told police that the couple got into an argument and somebody yelled “knife!”

She said she went to see what was happening and saw her husband standing between Franklin and Brewster. The bride-to-be was waving a knife around, and Brewster was bleeding from his side.
Fearing that her husband would be stabbed next, Monique Kali said she tackled Franklin and her husband disarmed her. Meanwhile, Brewster staggered outside, still bleeding.
Franklin was arrested and charged with one count of homicide.
The pastor who was supposed to perform the wedding at 10:00 a.m. Saturday showed up at the apartment after not being able to reach the couple, according to the Morning Call.

KottonMouth has made his prescence known all over in and outside of Texas. He's affiliated with major artist from Houston from being raised there off and on for part of his life. So alot of times people get it twisted as far as where he's from.  But if you ask him he'll tell you "He's South Dallas all day".  One of Jesse's Best Friends a kid by the name of Tray's death inspired Jesse to get into the music game and out the streets.Which eventually led  KottonMouth starting off with a group out of SanAntonio,TX called P.K.O. just going by Jesse, prior to KottonMouth Jesse ever existing (Check The Video Below).  A voice he's been since then in these streets he's been sharing his stories through "Rhyme and Reason".  Relaying  a message of his struggle.  The one thing I picked up on from his that he doesn't want to stand in anyones way of making it out of Dallas.  But instead you can hear the encouragement through his words to all the younger artist who have a dream.  Its not easy selling one record out here with a label, imagine doing over 70,000 independent.  Now mind you that independently is alot more money then alot of artist even see upfront.  So its been a blessing that he's come so far.  Be on the lookout for his new CD Entitled "Calling all Hogs" and check the video below.

To say that we never had a voice of Dallas is insulting theres so many great people who've held us down over the years, even now KottonMouth keeps a fresh up to date beat and swagg about himself and his music.  You can go cop that Dallas HardHitters with Features from other "Great Up and Coming" Rappers from Dallas such as my boys T.Cash, Young Black, Dougski G, Pooca Leroy and thats just to name a few.  All I can say is Dallas has our own Swagg, History and Legends we need to support.  Stop and take the time to appreciate our music and show more love.  I honestly believe this is our time and we need to put the spotlight on all our artist.  Teach our children, the ones out here with the aspirations of becoming rappers where and what that history consist of.  Why, you ask.  Because it leads to inspiration, clear leadership and guidance so that way younger rappers of our times can learn and evolve from anothers mistakes or blessings.  However you want to see it.  Rap has always been considered an art form just like anything else that has an expression or a feel of a story being told. Its like anything else in life you "Live and you learn".  So I hope this interview was an inspiration for you to dig deeper into our history so that way your mind isn't so dilluted as to us not having one.

Alot of people may have forgot but back in the early 90's A group of emcees & writters was doing big things in the DFW Music Scene and they were called the Starvyn Artist not only did they rap they had a underground magazine which was the pulse of the streets. Starvyn interviewed everyone from Outkast, to Guru, Master Ace but one that sticks out the most is when they interviewed the legendary Notorious BIG aka Biggie Smalls with Craig Mack back in 1994 at the Arista BMG Dallas Office Branch.Starvyn Artist which consisted of Aziz, James Shepherd, PiKaHsSo, Brian Berry, Michael Bailey, Vernon Norris, Anwar, Swiss Da Big Cheese & Kevin had no idea at the time that they where interview one of the humans who grew to be one of the biggest icons & hiphop.
