I love to see young people who work hard to Brand themselves and live life while doing so. She's a daughter of a Well known Figure of the World; Her Father being Michael Jordan isn't what she's using as a sales tactic, it just helps. Jasmine shines through in this interview by just simply being herself and I appreciate that as a consumer. Maybe we can do a contest where we give away a pair...

You know of Michael Jordan’s shoe brand, you know its net worth is still increasing. Now, Daughter Jordan enters with her Jasmine design. Do you think her design will improve upon Jordan’s net worth and demographic reach?
Since 1985, Michael Jordan has been raking in money from his brand via his Nike deal. There are over 40 types of Jordans that have been available throughout the years, not to mention the new deals surfacing with fellow basketball athletes.
It seems as though there’s no plan to discontinue what works. Michael Jordan’s daughter, Jasmine Jordan, has designed an interesting addition to the Jordan brand. Likewise, Jasmine has decided to name them after herself.
Though Jasmine has designed this shoe within Michael’s brand, apart from her father, Daughter Jordan wishes to set her own path in life. According to her Twitter and Instagram, Jasmine’s posts reflect that she’s her own woman and doesn’t wish to be defined by her father’s success.
Jasmine’s designs include those of her own as well. Via her Instagram, it can be seen that she clearly states, “I am not Michael. I am Jordan.” While many celebrity sons and daughters tend to gain status by parental association, Jasmine doesn’t want that. Along with making her own name, Jasmine lives her life like many others as a down-to-earth individual.
Speaking of her image and setting her own path, according to a news source, Daughter Jordan had to actually set the record straight when she first arrived to campus. Prior to that, people thought she was just riding on her father’s fame. As reports the news source, her statement goes as follows.
“I have no problem with people knowing me as Michael Jordan’s Daughter. The issue comes when people make assumptions on who I am because I am his daughter.
People assume I play basketball or wear Jordan’s everyday and neither of those is true. I do not play basketball but I know the game. I don’t wear Jordan’s everyday because I like to switch it up.
I always say I’m a pretty open book. You want to know what it is like being Michael Jordan’s daughter just ask me instead of making assumptions and drawing incorrect conclusions about me.”
Other than her shoe debut, Jasmine hasn’t been in news headlines most-recently. Most of her focus seems to be on accomplishing her personal and professional endeavors, which privately remain known to her. However, Michael Jordan was recently seen in headlines while at the Floyd Mayweather/Manny Pacquiao fight. Jordan, while attending the fight, ended up helping to disperse a fight which began after the main event.
As can be seen, it wasn’t done for the media. Possibly, along with his financials from Daughter Jordan’s addition, Jordan’s moral net worth further-increased from his gesture. “I wanna be like Mike.”

David Terrell‘s post-NFL story has apparently taken another dark turn.
The former receiver and noted draft bust has been charged with felony manufacturing or delivery of cannabis and a misdemeanor count of battery, according to several reports.
ESPN Chicago is reporting that Chicago Police was called to the Bronzeville section of town after reports of marijuana smoke in the area. Terrell was on the scene and interviewed by police in an area where cannabis scales and drug paraphernalia were in sight.
The police report states that Terrell struck the hand of one officer after which he was taken into custody, along with two other men. A different police officer was treated at a local hospital after Terrell attempted to resist arrest, the report said.
The report also indicates an oddity: Terrell’s NFL bio lists his birthday as March 13, 1979, but the police report notes it as April 13, 1978. It’s not clear if that was a police error or if Terrell falsified his birth date. Weird.
This is not the first run-in with the law for the eighth overall pick of the 2001 draft. Terrell previously was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery in 2012 after he allegedly grabbed his ex-girlfriend in his apartment.
Terrell last played in the NFL with the Broncos in 2005 after stints with the Patriots and Bears, the team that drafted him. In 54 career games, most of which were with the Bears, Terrell caught 128 passes for 1,602 yards and nine touchdowns.

A rabid skunk attacked a 5-month-old Minnesota boy on Thursday, biting him several times on the face and even “inside of his mouth,” according to local police.
The attack happened at a day care in Little Falls, Minn., according to NBC affiliate station KARE-TV. The woman who owns the daycare turned her back on the child for a moment as he reclined in a bouncy-chair when she suddenly heard him yelp, then turned around to see a skunk walking away.
“The child had what looked to be bites and/or scratches all around its face, and one inside of his mouth,” Morrison County Sheriff Michel Wetzel said. “He got bit a number of times. And it was an unusually large skunk, almost the size of probably a cocker spaniel.”
The daycare owner’s husband shot the skunk before it could get away, and lab results later showed the animal had rabies. At least five rabid skunks have been found in the county this year, KARE-TV noted.

I'm thinking to myself this skunk was as big as a Cocker Spaniel and he was able to sneak up behind the lady apparently prior to her turning around to check on the other child for that to happen so quickly he'd had to just been approaching when she was about to turn around...Now take a look at the pic below of a Cocker Spaniel and tell me that you wouldn't of been able to see that coming.

So there saying there justified in attacking this woman and plan on charging her after she is released from the hospital. So as Police officers since she supposedly assaulting you, your allowed to use deadly or dangerous force. But let a black man or any man at that matter try to restrain a woman pregnant or not from assaulting them then they get arrested for domestic violence or assault. SMDH So what that says to millions of Americans they Police are above the law and that should be far from truth. Our tax Dollars support your cause which is to protect and to serve, so when you harass those same people who are paying for your livelihood it adds insult to injury.

He said he was last year on 105's Breakfast club and people took it as though he meant it in jest but apparently there's some truth to it by the looks of this picture. My only problem is he's out here exploiting young women and children to live the life he came from in the hood in stead of the one he sought to make him better with God. So what path is he really leading. What path is anyone leading to not live the example they portray. I'd like to ask him some questions that pertain to this subject. Because I feel as though he has a voice in the black community.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is facing accusations that it covered up a hate crime by denying that the murder of two brothers in a parking lot on Sunday night was related to the Trayvon Martin case, despite the fact that a sticker was placed on the brother’s truck which read “Free Zimmerman”.
At around 8:45 p.m. at the 7000 block of Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, 24-year-old Andrew Austin Bohannon and 19-year-old Matthew Ryan Bohannon were sitting in their truck in the Golden Corral parking lot when they were approached by another car carrying multiple occupants.
After “some type of conversation” between the two parties, multiple shots were fired at the brothers. One was killed instantly while another was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at a local hospital.
“Now rumors have spread that the deadly shooting is in retaliation to a bumper sticker placed on the Bohannon’s truck that said “Free Zimmerman,” reports FirstCoastNews.
The unknown shooters are still on the loose. Multiple people saw the incident and it was also captured on surveillance cameras, but the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is denying that the incident was a hate crime connected to the acquittal of George Zimmerman.
“Normandy Blvd. Shooting Update – We have had numerous inquiries, blog comments, and Facebook postings about the relationship between the Normandy double homicide last night in the Golden Corral parking lot and the outcome of the George Zimmerman trial. We are confident to say where we are in the investigation that this is not the case at all. There is NO link at all between these cases, nor did we ever suspect one,” said the Sheriff’s office in a statement.
However, WTLV viewers responded by accusing the JSO of launching a cover-up.
“Definitely had to do with the Zimmerman case,” wrote one.
“Nice way to try to cover up a hate crime JSO. Unfortunately the public knows better,” said Kimberely Martin Faqua.
“Why can’t the news and JSO admit the truth about what the boys were murdered for the sticker on their vehicle “Free Zimmerman”…why the big coverup. This deserves media coverage just like Trayvon received,” states Cyndi Starling.
The family of the brothers have also denied connection with Zimmerman case.

However, instead of people encouraging Jeantel and supporting the teen who will forever live with the burden of being the last person to talk to Martin before his death, the 19-year-old was berated for her speech, appearance, mannerisms and “lack of education.” Jeantel’s testimony and her recent appearance on CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight”, greatly impacted radio legend Tom Joyner and since he first saw her on the stand, Joyner has been determined to help Jeantel. Tuesday morning on the Tom Joyner Morning Show, Joyner offered an olive branch to the embattled teen, offering her a possible full scholarship to any HBCU through the Tom Joyner Foundation. Joyner proclaimed, “Hi Rachel, this is Tom Joyner, I love you, I really do love you”, Jeantel, shyly giggles before responding, “I know.” But, Jeantel didn’t know how much she was loved because, Joyner was soon to dramatically change her life in a matter of minutes, saying, “If you want to graduate from high school, and go to an HBCU, even if it’s not in Florida but especially Florida, like Florida Memorial, Edward Waters or FAMU, if you want to do that, I want to help you do that.” Joyner did not only offer his assistance in college, he wants to help her get there, adding,
“I will help you get tutors to get you out of high school, tutors to help you pass the SAT and I will give you a full ride scholarship to any HBCU you’d like.” Jeantel, who we later learned was in shock from the offer, simply responded “thank you.” Later in the interview, Jeantel hinted that she might pursue a career in law enforcement but she reminded Joyner and the crew she “doesn’t like bodies” or funerals. -

Im glad someone reached out and touched her mind.. Because I was uber concerned for her well being she didn't seem as though she was aware with what was happening in her mind much more on the phone that day she testified. Its getting scary out here for black people, not in the sense people are killing us we do enough of that on our own. 97% of black deaths are commited by other blacks in America (So lets keep it real) The problem were having is with education if there were more Black children educated in there right and there well being as well as education in general we'd be better off. There's nothing more annoying to me then talking to someone so un-educated about the world black or white, but especially black. Because we've been through so much you'd think that we'd be more diligent in raising our children in wanting to succeed..

I have to admit, since they've been together Ciara has stepped her game up. Her facial expressions are more believable and her weaves are more pronounced..But its something about there chemistry that reads Ike and Tina and not in a Physically abusive way, more mental. Now don't take my word on it.. Like if they were to do a remake of "What's love Got to Do With it" They'd be the perfect pair to pull it off..I don't iknow watch the video and the tell me you feel indifferent...
