This is a damn shame. First off why would be the question I want answered. This is the reason I'm not excited to bring a child into this world as of now. For what so I can worry about them every time they step a foot outside the door. This story is just so heart breaking. I just pray they find whomever did this and take them off the streets ASAP!

San Francisco police arrested a teenage boy yesterday after he allegedly shot and killed 16-year-old Clifton Chatman, who police say was literally the suspect's partner-in-crime.
Sgt. Danielle Newman says the incident happened on Dec. 14 when a man was walking along the 500 block of Alemany Boulevard. A group of guys approached the victim and demanded his cellphone.
One of the robbers pulled out a gun while the other robbers rifled through the victim's pockets; the victim was not resisting and complying with the robbers' demands, but the armed man fired one shot at the victim anyhow, police said.

The shot bounced off the victim's face and instead hit one of the robbery suspects and killing him instantly, according to police.
The other robbers ran from the scene. When police arrived, they found the wounded robbery victim and the the deceased robbery suspect. The victim survived.
Police are not releasing the suspect's name or photo because he is a juvenile. He's being charged with attempted robbery and murder.
Anyone with further information should contact the Police Department's Homicide Detail at 553-1145. They can also call the Anonymous Tip Line at 575-4444. Messages can also be sent via mobile phone to Text-a-Tip at TIP411. Begin the message with "SFPD."

Another day, another ain’t isht teenager robbing life from the person that gave it to them without any remorse.

Affidavits filed in Pike County Justice Court reveal more details about the day 53-year-old McComb resident Kenneth Thompson allegedly was killed by his teenage son and others and how a police officer allegedly helped hide the evidence.
Thompson’s 14-year-old son, Blake Thompson, reportedly plotted to kill him with the help of Greg Fortenberry, 26, and LeJerrious Perkins, 17, according to criminal reports written by Troy Travis of the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation.
Thompson, Fortenberry and Perkins have each been charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, arson and conspiracy to commit arson.
The three suspects allegedly stabbed Kenneth Thompson in the neck sometime Sunday and took his Chevrolet Silverado extended-cab pickup. They were spotted driving the truck later that day near Walmart in McComb, said the victim’s sister-in-law, Lillian Mallard.
The elder Thompson may have been lured by a phone call he received earlier that morning instructing him to get his son, Mallard said. Blake Thompson had run away days ago, she said, and his father was looking for him.
After the slaying, the suspects allegedly enlisted the help of Brookhaven police officer Jasper Pittman to help burn the truck and bury the body, the affidavits claim.
Kenneth Thompson’s corpse was found early Monday in a shallow grave behind Pittman’s house. His truck was discovered in a wooded area on the property of a Pittman family member.
Pittman was charged with arson, conspiracy to commit arson and accessory after the fact (murder). He also was charged with sexual battery,” one of the affidavits states.
Pittman is 25. He is being held at the Amite County Jail on $400,000 cash bond. He was fired from the Brookhaven Police Department on Tuesday, said Chief Bobby Bell.
The cop is the one in the middle in the above photo. Fortenberry, aka “Red,” on the left — just got out of jail June 22nd after serving six years on a ten year bid for assaulting a police officer. He and Perkins “aka Moo” (on the right) are being held on $500K bond.
The biggest tragedy is that the deceased was by all accounts a good man:
Mallard said she didn’t know the suspects and wasn’t sure why the younger Thompson associated with them, except that he was a troubled teen.
“He was stealing; they’d send him back home. He was getting in trouble in school; they’d send him home,” she said. “His daddy was trying to keep him out of trouble.”
Kenneth Thompson worked full time at a Wal-Mart distribution center and left behind three other children, including a 7-year-old daughter. The children’s mother died five years ago, Mallard said.

A northwest Ohio man who was badly beaten at a homeless shelter in a dispute over 75 cents has died.
The Blade newspaper (http://bit.ly/14AMI2M) reports 53-year-old Joseph Meyers had been at a hospital since Saturday’s attack in Toledo. Meyers was pronounced dead Wednesday evening.
Police say the man who beat Meyers was arrested at the scene and remains in a county jail facing felonious assault charges. They say they expect murder charges to be presented to a grand jury soon.
A judge has set a $100,000 cash-only bond for the man, whose attorney hasn’t returned a request for comment made Thursday.
Police say both men stayed at the Toledo Gospel Rescue Mission. The mission says its goal is to minister to the spiritual and physical needs of the homeless and poor.

In August 2010, Marissa Alexander defended herself from further violence by her abusive estranged husband in their home by firing a warning shot toward the ceiling. No one was injured by the shot fired to save her life. Without bond to care for her premature nursing daughter, in May 2012, Marissa was wrongly convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Under Florida’s mandatory minimum sentencing law, Marissa was sentenced to a minimum of 20 years in prison. Marissa had a restraining order against the serial abuser, a legally licensed gun and permit, and no criminal history. Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” law did not work for her in the way it worked for Trayvon Martin’s killer which raises serious concerns of discrimination against Marissa. It appears that stereotypes about Black women project them as aggressors even when defending their lives upon deadly attack. Something has to be done regarding all women who defend themselves against their abusers. Too often they receive little understanding and sympathy from the systems charged with demonstrating justice.

Mobetta's Thoughts: This was an avoidable tragedy, common sense tells me I dont care how caring I am not to leave a 16 year old boy with any child especially if he was my troubled neighbor. Horrible but whats done is done. Now its in the laws hands. His friends life wouldnt of been ruined had he done the right thing and called the cops to begin with. Shame all the way around 3 lives gone.
“She’s just so welcoming in her home and just trusts everyone,” a devastated and tearful Walker said in an interview broadcast Tuesday.
Police say Freeman came to the house sometime Sunday night and, after Lascelle went to bed around 11, killed Isabella Tennant with his bare hands. An autopsy report said she died from an obstructed airway and compression of the neck.
After killing the girl, Freeman enlisted the help of a friend, 18-year-old Tyler Best, to put the body in a garbage bag and dump it in a garbage can a few blocks away. The teens were arrested shortly after Best went to police Monday morning and led them to the garbage can and a trash bag holding Isabella’s body. He told them he helped Freeman dispose of the body after Freeman killed her, police said.
Freeman pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder charges and was sent to county jail without bail. Best pleaded not guilty to charges of tampering with evidence and also was returned to jail. Both are due back in court on Sept. 7.
“I just don’t want it to be real,” Walker said. “I just want her back.”
Walker, who works at a sports bar in Niagara Falls, says she wishes her grandmother had just told Isabella to come to bed when the older woman did. And, while she knows Lascelle was responsible for her daughter’s safety, she doesn’t blame her for the girl’s death.
“I can’t,” she said. “It wasn’t her fault because she trusted this kid.”
For Freeman, though, Walker held nothing but scorn and anger.
“I don’t understand. He could have left her in the basement and made it look like she fell,” she said, her face contorting and her voice breaking through the tears. “But instead, he took her little body three streets away and put her in a garbage can. I mean, who does that?”
Police said they believe Freeman killed Isabella in the house, but they haven’t detailed the attack.
In a statement issued to the media, Michael Tennant said: “Isabella was loved deeply by her daddy Mike and his fiancee Maria. Isabella enjoyed spending time with her cousins and family. Anybody who knew Isabella always saw her warm beautiful smile. The Tennant family appreciates your thoughts and prayers at this time of grieving.”
At a news conference Monday afternoon, Niagara Falls Chief Detective William Thompson said the girl was injured but there was no indication of sexual abuse. County Coroner Cindy-Lou Joyce also said there was no sign of sexual abuse.
“As far as we know, he was a trusted family friend,” Thompson said. “It’s a terrible crime. It tears at your heart.”
Of Best going to police, Thompson said, “I imagine it was his conscience.”
Freeman and Best were in custody and couldn’t be reached for comment. Their home phone numbers weren’t listed.
The teenagers, dressed in blue jumpsuits and handcuffed, were in court for just six minutes and each said only one word, answering “no” when Morinello asked if they were students. Eleven members of Isabella’s family and 11 supporters of Freeman filled the courtroom. There were no confrontations in or outside the court.
Robert Viola, the lawyer representing Freeman, said he met with the boy for a few minutes Monday and asked the judge to reserve his right to seek a hearing to see if Freeman is competent to stand trial. He also asked the judge to seal any statements Freeman gave to police. The judge agreed to both requests.
Viola did not return a call seeking comment.
Best was represented by Rodney Giove. A phone call to his law firm went unanswered Tuesday.
Niagara County District Attorney Michael Violante has not returned repeated calls seeking comment since Monday afternoon.
Crystal Walker said her only child was very energetic and loving and looking forward to starting kindergarten.

In a statement issued to the media, Michael Tennant said: “Isabella was loved deeply by her daddy Mike and his fiancee Maria. Isabella enjoyed spending time with her cousins and family. Anybody who knew Isabella always saw her warm beautiful smile. The Tennant family appreciates your thoughts and prayers at this time of grieving.”
At a news conference Monday afternoon, Niagara Falls Chief Detective William Thompson said the girl was injured but there was no indication of sexual abuse. County Coroner Cindy-Lou Joyce also said there was no sign of sexual abuse.
“As far as we know, he was a trusted family friend,” Thompson said. “It’s a terrible crime. It tears at your heart.”
Of Best going to police, Thompson said, “I imagine it was his conscience.”
Freeman and Best were in custody and couldn’t be reached for comment. Their home phone numbers weren’t listed.
The teenagers, dressed in blue jumpsuits and handcuffed, were in court for just six minutes and each said only one word, answering “no” when Morinello asked if they were students. Eleven members of Isabella’s family and 11 supporters of Freeman filled the courtroom. There were no confrontations in or outside the court.
Robert Viola, the lawyer representing Freeman, said he met with the boy for a few minutes Monday and asked the judge to reserve his right to seek a hearing to see if Freeman is competent to stand trial. He also asked the judge to seal any statements Freeman gave to police. The judge agreed to both requests.
Viola did not return a call seeking comment.
Best was represented by Rodney Giove. A phone call to his law firm went unanswered Tuesday.
Niagara County District Attorney Michael Violante has not returned repeated calls seeking comment since Monday afternoon.
Crystal Walker said her only child was very energetic and loving and looking forward to starting kindergarten.
She was so excited,” she told the TV station. “We just got all the shopping done, she filled her book bag; it’s in her room.
“Her lunchbox is in the fridge,” she said, pausing as emotion caught up to her quavering voice. “She already packed a lunch and it doesn’t even start for two weeks.”

Police say a Camden, New Jersey mother stabbed her 2-year-old son multiple times and then cut his head off and put it in a freezer, before killing herself. Chevonne Thomas, who had a history of child abuse and neglect, used a kitchen knife to decapitate Zahree Thomas.
According to NBC10, Thomas called 911 to report something had happened to her son.
“The information they were receiving was very muddled, but it led them to believe there was a child that was in jeopardy,” Camden County Prosecutor’s Office spokesman Jason Laughlin told NBC10.
Police arrived at the scene to find the toddler’s mutilated body on the first floor of the residence. It was initially reported that police retreated from the home when they heard movement upstairs, because they didn’t know if the person was armed. But Laughlin said police remained at the bottom of the stairs as Thomas stabbed herself to death in an upstairs bedroom.
Police discovered Thomas’ body when they entered the residence through a second-story window a bout 5 minutes after the 911 call.
“Everybody here is very shaken up. One of the sergeant’s from my office says it’s one of the most grisly things he’s seen on the job,” said Laughlin.
Thomas lost custody of Zahree in 2010 when she was arrested for leaving the infant in a car. Prosecutors said Thomas allegedly admitted to smoking PCP and marijuana at the time.
Prosecutors say the charges were dropped due to insufficient evidence and Zahree was returned to Thomas in April. Thomas also had a 18-year-old daughter.

Family members of a slain Dallas woman are angry that the Dallas police didn’t do enough to save her after she called 911 two days earlier to report her ex-husband was attacking her.
Deanna Cook-Patrick, 32, was found dead in her bathtub on Sunday after family members kicked in her front door.
Police say Cook called 911 from her cell phone, delaying the response time by 9 minutes. Once Cook’s address was established, the dispatcher did not inform the officers in the field that Cook was under attack — even though her screams could be heard during the 11-minute 911 call. Police knocked on Cook’s door but left when there was no response.
“In my personal opinion, I don’t think they cared enough. I think they had already given up. Seen it was useless and didn’t think it was worth their time or effort,” the victim’s sister, Valecia Battle, told Fox News.
Police arrested Cook’s ex-husband, Delvecchio Patrick, and charged him with murder. He is being held on $500,000 bail.
Cook and Patrick’s 3-year marriage was a contentious one. Patrick was arrested 3 times for assaulting Cook in the past. He pleaded guilty to all 3 charges. The couple’s divorce was finalized in January.
Family members, including her two teenage daughters, went to Cook’s home on Sunday after they noticed she didn’t attend church services. The family saw water pouring under the front door which was locked. They kicked the door in and found Cook’s body submerged in the tub with the water still running.

“I could just hear how loud she was screaming,” Karletha Gundy told WFAA News 8 in Dallas. “I couldn’t hear what she was saying, but I know she was screaming for her life.”
Gundy described the indifference by police when she called to report Cook missing and asked for a welfare check at her home.
“The lady said, ‘Before we can send an officer out to check, you need to call the hospitals and the jails,’” Gundy said.
“If they could have kicked the door down, maybe she could have been saved,” Gundy said.
The 911 operator who failed to mention the ongoing assault to police defended her actions in an interview with the Dallas Morning News.
“I can say that it’s obvious that there was an active disturbance taking place, the screaming and things like that, so I can’t say that I knew what was going on, other than there was a disturbance,” the operator said. “Obviously my prayers go out to her family, because that’s just a terrible situation.”
Just hours before she was attacked in her home, Deanna Cook tweeted a response to R&B singer Tyrese, who wrote a series of tweets on his Twitter.com account chastising women for staying in abusive relationships.
