( 4UMF NEWS ) Former NFL Star Busted On Drug Charges:
David Terrell‘s post-NFL story has apparently taken another dark turn.
The former receiver and noted draft bust has been charged with felony manufacturing or delivery of cannabis and a misdemeanor count of battery, according to several reports.
ESPN Chicago is reporting that Chicago Police was called to the Bronzeville section of town after reports of marijuana smoke in the area. Terrell was on the scene and interviewed by police in an area where cannabis scales and drug paraphernalia were in sight.
The police report states that Terrell struck the hand of one officer after which he was taken into custody, along with two other men. A different police officer was treated at a local hospital after Terrell attempted to resist arrest, the report said.
The report also indicates an oddity: Terrell’s NFL bio lists his birthday as March 13, 1979, but the police report notes it as April 13, 1978. It’s not clear if that was a police error or if Terrell falsified his birth date. Weird.
This is not the first run-in with the law for the eighth overall pick of the 2001 draft. Terrell previously was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery in 2012 after he allegedly grabbed his ex-girlfriend in his apartment.
Terrell last played in the NFL with the Broncos in 2005 after stints with the Patriots and Bears, the team that drafted him. In 54 career games, most of which were with the Bears, Terrell caught 128 passes for 1,602 yards and nine touchdowns.

FBI agents on Tuesday arrested the mayors of Miami Lakes and Sweetwater on public corruption charges.
Agents arrested Miami Lakes Mayor Michael Pizzi and Sweetwater Mayor Manuel Maroño at their city hall offices Tuesday morning.
Maroño is charged with conspiracy to commit extortion. Pizzi is charged with conspiracy to commit extortion under color of official rights.
“This is a sad day for South Florida,” said Wifredo Ferrer, the U.S. State Attorney for the Southern District of Florida.
According to Ferrer, over two years, Maroño accepted more than $40,000 in bribes and Pizzi accepted $6,750 in bribes. Two lobbyists — Richard Candea and Jorge Forte — were also charged in the cases.
An undercover agent paid bribes to Maroño and Pizzi so they’d approve federal grants, said FBI special agent Michael Steinbach.
“In return, the elected officials allegedly participated in the schemes by interfering with audits, passing resolutions, favoring these grants, and endorsing the undercover company on behalf of the elected officials’ municipalities,” he said.
“This is disappointing. Public officials must be held to the highest standards. While we wait to see the evidence, the fact remains that elected officials must be held to the highest standard,” Florida Gov. Rick Scott said in a statement.
Maroño, a member of the Sweetwater City Commission since 1995, was elected mayor in 2003. He currently serves as president of the Florida League of Cities. He played a role in Gov. Rick Scott’s transition team in 2011.
Pizzi, an attorney, was reelected as mayor in 2012. He once worked for a high-profile criminal defense firm in Miami.
Pizzi was expected to duke it out with Hialeah Mayor Carlos Hernandez for a charity next week.

The time has come to make a decision about whether or not George Zimmerman murdered Trayvon Martin Jury May Have A Verdict In The George Zimmerman-Trayvon Martin Trial Today Via OrlandoSentinel Will there be a verdict today in the George Zimmerman second-degree murder trial? No one knows how long the jury will deliberate. The panel resumed deliberaions at 9 a.m. today to decide whether Zimmerman is guilty or not not guilty of committing a crime when he shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. A verdict is possible as soon as today in the closely watched, ultra-high-profile trial. The jurors began the process on Friday at 2:30 and deliberated until 6 p.m. when they asked to break for the day. Once the jury has reached a verdict, it could be about one hour before that verdict is announced. The jury can find Zimmerman guilty of second-degree murder, guilty of manslaughter, or not guilty in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin. If the jury finds Zimmerman guilty of second-degree murder, he faces a maximum of life in prison. If they find him guilty of manslaughter, he faces a maximum 30-year prison sentence.

The verdict will be read in Circuit Court Judge Debra Nelson’s courtroom at the Seminole County courthouse about an hour after the jury decides. There is a lot of speculation about exactly how long the jury will deliberate, but one thing is for sure, we will be watching every minute until we get word that a verdict has been reached. Spanish researchers have created a robot posing as a 14-year-old girl to spot paedophiles in online chatrooms.
Negobot uses artificial intelligence (AI) software to chat realistically and mimic the language used by teenagers.
The “virtual Lolita” starts off neutral but will adopt any of seven personalities according to the intensity of interactions.
Experts say it can help overburdened police but may risk trapping people unfairly.
The team behind the project at the University of Deusto near Bilbao say the software represents a real advance. One of its creators, Dr Carlos Laorden, said that in the past “chatbots” have tended to be very predictable. “Their behaviour and interest in a conversation are flat, which is a problem when attempting to detect untrustworthy targets like paedophiles,” he noted.
By contrast, the Negobot uses advanced decision-making strategies known as “game theory” to simulate convincing chats as they develop.
It can take the lead in conversations, and remember specific facts about what had been discussed previously, and with whom.

Child-like behaviour
The so-called conversational agent also uses child-like language and slang, introducing spelling mistakes and contractions to further spoof the predator.
Negobot would be used in a chatroom where suspected paedophiles are thought to be lurking. It initiates a chat as a fairly passive participant. It then adapts its behaviour according to the grooming techniques used by the suspect to try to win over its trust and friendship.
For example, if the suspect does not appear to be enticed into having a conversation, the software can appear offended or get more insistent.
And it will respond to more aggressive advances – like requests for personal information – by trying to find out more about the suspect. This can include details such as their social network profile and mobile number, information which can then be used by police to start an investigation.
John Carr, a UK government adviser on child protection, welcomed any move to relieve the burden on real-world policing. But he warned the software risked enticing people to do things they otherwise would not.
“Undercover operations are extremely resource-intensive and delicate things to do. It’s absolutely vital that you don’t cross a line into entrapment which will foil any potential prosecution”, he said.
To date, the software has been field tested on Google’s chat service and could be translated into other languages. It has already attracted the attention of the Basque police force.
But researchers admit that it does have limitations and will need to be monitored. Although it is has broad conversational abilities, it is not yet sophisticated enough to detect certain human traits like irony.

So I don't think there's anything wrong with this softwares purposes.  But I think you understand what people mean now when they say the people who be on youtube starting shit and aint making any sense or Govt Robots bating you to say something crazy and not even predator like as though your trying to molest a child.  But something as simple as using the word Liberty, and freedoms.  The your a problem.
