Apolla Nida Begs Judge To Postpone Trial

I Love Hearing What Others Have To Say...So Leave a Comment:
Apollo & Phaedra have always been a bit suspect to me, so it came as no surprise when these allegations surfaced of there shady dealings.  If you recall it was just last year a former associate of Phaedra Parks by the name of Angela Stanton tried releasing a tell all book that fingered Phaedra Parks as being a mastermind behind an illegal operation that Angela assisted with. Phaedra Parks Esq.quickly shut that down by filing suit in the state of Georgia for the so called defamatory remarks made about her in the book.

Well I tell you what having Apollo being charged with the crime's he's facing doesn't help dim the light on Phaedra but so far she hasn't been brought up on charges in connection with her husbands shady dealings although her name is associated with the false business's he used to defraud hundreds if not thousands out of there monies.

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Apollo Nida and his wife Phaedra Parks continue to insist that he’s not guilty of the several federal charges he’s facing, including identity theft, conspiracy, bank fraud, and more. But despite his profession of innocence, he’s not quite ready for his day in court
.
RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that Nida filed a motion pleading with a federal judge to postpone his criminal hearing.

According to court documents filed on February 10, Nida has asked for “an extension of time up to and including March 25, 2014.”

The delay “will allow the parties sufficient time to discuss a potential resolution of this case,” such as a settlement, the documents explain.

Nida also wants more time to go over the government’s case against him before deciding whether to proceed with trial or accept some kind of a deal.

As Radar has reported, Nida is facing several years in prison over allegations he ran a shady business empire that stole unsuspecting individuals’ identities to be used on various loan applications and other purposes.

Though his wife, Parks, was involved with several of his businesses, according to evidence unearthed by Radar, she has not been charged or even named in connection with the case.
