First off not to sound oblivious to his crimes but this man was fine enough to where he wouldn't have to take it, not from me any ways.  So it makes you wonder what sick thoughts were running through his head when he committed the crimes. Like seriously are you not that charming to be able to pick up a groupie and sleep with him.  I guess he say he wanted to make sure it was a sure thing.

Darren Sharper (pictured), a former superstar with the New Orleans Saints and consultant with the NFL Network who was arrested on January 17th and released on a $200,000 bond for reportedly drugging and raping seven women across three states, has now been officially charged with the crime, according to TMZ.

In addition to the rape charges, Sharper also faces four counts of furnishing a controlled substance and one count of possession of a controlled substance, which are all categorized as felonies.
According to the Los Angeles district attorney’s office, the 38-year-old five-time Pro-Bowl selection’s alleged modus operandi would be to invite the women to a party.

Afterward, Sharper would allegedly ask the women to his hotel room, where he’d offer them a cocktail of zolpidem, a sedative, and morphine, a narcotic painkiller, in a shot glass.

The women alleged that Sharper sexually assaulted them while they were incapacitated. In one alleged instance, one of the victims gave a statement to authorities that she had awakened in a state of undress to find Sharper sexually assaulting her. Another woman who claims to have also been drugged by the former Saints’ Super Bowl championship winner told police that she had awakened naked as well, saw another woman being assaulted by Sharper, and then managed to stop him.

The now-Miami resident, who retired in 2010 following his second year with the Saints, spent 14 years with the NFL. Sharper has also had a Hall of Fame-level career and has played for three teams: the Green Bay Packers, the Minnesota Vikings, and the New Orleans Saints.
The district attorney is now seeking to have Sharper’s bail raised to $10 million because of the additional rape allegations across the three states.  If convicted of the charges, Sharper will face a 30-year prison term.
