FYI Television today’s premier TV listings provider, was formed as a publishing and television information company providing products and services to satisfy customized TV listing information needs for ONLINE (Internet), ONSCREEN (Television), MOBILE (Phones,Tablets, etc.) and PRINT (Newspapers,etc.) applications. Today newspapers, cable TV, satellite TV and internet portal industries all turn to FYI for their TV listing information content.


 
 
Job Requirements

 
Unusual Working Conditions:  Overtime will be required based upon production and/or client needs. Holiday periods will require additional emphasis and overtime.
 
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS:
 
  • Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent grammar and spelling skills
  • Excellent communication skills including ability to speak with outside television programming networks in a professional manner
  • Ability to use all software, hardware and tools provided by company, specifically Editing Software
  • Ability to simultaneously manage to successful completion of multiple projects
  • Ability to obtain and submit documented project results
  • Quick learner and the ability to understand daily tasks
  • The ability to adapt to constantly changing tasks or projects.
 
DESIRED JOB SKILLS:
 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer, and Internet Search Engines
  • Type 50+ words per minute

    I use to work here a few years back.  But I had another position I actually wrote the descriptions that you see in your guides.  What year a  movie came out and the summary of what its about.. Shows, movies, infomericals anything.  Then I'd program what you were going to see that week.  It was a pretty cool job.  This is for another position sounds fairly easier then what I was doing.  So i'd say it'd be worth the $9.00 because the job I had paid bout that much but it was way more complex then that.  That's why I needed more cash.  But I'd say this position for some one who doesn't have a job is great place to start off at til you find something you want.
